It’s 2025, which means it’s officially the year we will finally be getting Reputation (Taylor's Version), and not even a week into the new year - I have a new theory. It’s not complicated and very short, it’s actually well based and I came up with it while I was studying math (which means I was at the peak of my sensibility).
It all started yesterday, when Taylor registered Look What You Made Me Do (Taylor’s Version) on Shazam. The only other times when she registered a song on the platform before its release was with Love Story (Taylor’s Version) and Wildest Dreams (Taylor’s Version).
Love Story, a song off Taylor’s second album, was registered two days before its official release on streaming platforms. Wildest Dreams, a song off her fifth album, was registered five months before it officially came out. That means that LWYMMD was registered six something before its release.
Six hours from yesterday have already passed, and Taylor has already used days and months in this pattern. Six years wouldn't be possible because Taylor’s trademarks for Rep and Debut TV expire in August, which leaves us with six weeks.
“Six weeks of breathing clean air, I still miss the smoke.” A line from The Black Dog (note: the seventeenth track on TTPD).
Six weeks from yesterday is, of course, February 13th. Name a more Taylor thing to do. I bet you can’t.
But it doesn’t end here. I checked, and it turns out the original version of Look What You Made Me Do was released on August 24th 2017, 78 days before reputation itself was released. 78 days from January 3rd is May 2nd, a Friday on the seventeenth week of the year (again, The Black Dog is track 17).
It’s known that the era every TV gets is not very long. I mean, there was only a month between the release of Speak Now and the announcement of 1989. This means, that Taylor could do a very annoying and yet Taylor thing and make Rep TV a very short era. If she will release it in May, she could announce Debut TV a month later and release it in August right before the trademark expires.
i hope so, and also after two tv's ive noticed taylor releases an entirely new album so we could be getting ts12 soon aswell
