“Hey December, guess I’m feeling unmoored.”
It’s the final month of 2024, closing out one of the craziest years in Swiftie history. It’s hard to believe this year is ending. November was such a fun month, and I can’t wait to see what December has in store.
November Recap
Eras Tour
Last month, Taylor brought the Eras Tour to two more cities—Indianapolis and Toronto—performing nine sold-out shows and being as incredible as ever. She also surprised us with Gracie Abrams as a guest (literally three days after I started listening to her music!).
Cheer Captain
Taylor attended three Chiefs games in November: Chiefs vs Buccaneers, Chiefs vs Broncos and Chiefs vs Raiders. Unfortunately, we didn’t get any Tayvis content, but I’m staying hopeful for December!
Eras Tour Book + Anthology Vinyl
On Black Friday, Taylor finally released the Eras Tour book and The Tortured Poets Department: The Anthology vinyl. Fans were lining up at Target as early as 4am to get their hands on them, and from what I’ve seen, it was so worth it.
Grammy Nominations
The Grammy nominations finally dropped, and Taylor is nominated in six different categories:
Album of the Year (The Tortured Poets Department)
Best Pop Vocal Album (The Tortured Poets Department)
Record of the Year (Fortnight)
Song of the Year (Fortnight)
Best Music Video (Fortnight)
Best Pop Duo/Group Performance (us.)
The Eras Tour movie—aka the highest-grossing tour film of all time—was completely ROBBED. On that, I will never forgive the Scammys 🤍
What To Expect In December
The Eras Tour Is Officially Ending
It physically hurts to type this, and even more to acknowledge it, but the Eras Tour is ending in just one week. One week until this chapter of our lives becomes part of history.
Only three shows remain, all in Vancouver, Canada.
Chiefs Games
Taylor is expected to attend three out of four Chiefs games this month. The only game she’ll definitely miss is on December 8—because she’ll be busy making us all cry as she says goodbye to the Eras Tour for the final time.
BirthTAY!
It’s Taylor’s birthday month! She’ll be turning 35 this year, which is wild considering she turned 31 like five days ago. This year, her birthday falls on a Friday, which opens the door for a potential gift from her. No, it’s not going to be Reputation (Taylor’s Version), but I’m hoping for a doco announcement!
I'm so excited but also so sad... but at least it's my birthday month too
