As the days pass, we are getting closer and closer to the final show of the European leg of the Eras Tour, London N8, which occurs on August 20th.
For weeks now we’ve been getting clues that Reputation (Taylor’s Version) might arrive sooner than later, and it might be happening on the final show in Europe this Tuesday!
1 2 3… Again!!
As I mentioned in all of my Code Rep posts, Taylor has been counting 1 2 3 (or 3 2 1) for quite a while now on her socials and during the Eras Tour.
It all started around the time Tortured Poets was announced when Taylor’s site glitched and showed “error 321”, which is basically a communication error caused by a lack of telephone service. And if there is a lack of telephone service… I guess the old Taylor can’t come to the phone?
Anyways, 3 2 1 is definitely not coincidental. We already had a Code Rep for the 123rd show in Munich three weeks ago. She used 3 2 1 to count down to the Warsaw shows. And now, the 1 2 3 makes an appearance again!
August 20th, AKA London N8, marks 123 days since the release of TTPD. Also, the ONLY song from Reputation that Taylor hasn’t played in the Acoustic Set in Europe is So It Goes…, which includes the lyrics “But who’s counting? 1 2 3”.
This can’t be a coincidence, right?
New Outfits
Taylor completely stopped debuting after the Gelsenkirchen shows about a month ago. However, on London N5, she very randomly debuted the new Moonstone Midnights bodysuit. The last time she debuted a new Midnights bodysuit (not including Paris) was right before the 1989 (Taylor’s Version) announcement last year in LA.
She still has 1989 combos that haven’t been worn yet: the green and yellow and the double green. Maybe she will do them for N7 and N8?
I Did Something Bad
On August 17th, London N6, Taylor sang I Did Something Bad as a guitar Surprise Song. This shocked everyone. Everyone. We all thought that Taylor was saving it for the final London show, for the announcement of Reputation (Taylor’s Version). However, she played it earlier than we thought.
But what if she played IDSB to confuse us on purpose? What if she is about to add it to the setlist and play it on Tuesday?
The 3 Theory
I’ve been spending hours thinking if there is something we are missing. If Taylor is leaving us more clues that we haven’t noticed, and I realized something that I don’t think anyone realized before. I call this theory The 3 Theory, and it is absolutely insane.
It all started back in Wembley Round 1, on the third night. Taylor sang a triple mashup of three songs from 1989, the latest rerecording we got. She also played a triple mashup on N1 and three Surprise Songs on N2.
However, it got much worse in this round at Wembley. Taylor kicked off London pt. 2 with a crazy Acoustic Set. She brought Ed Sheeran out to sing a triple mashup of Everything Has Changed x End Game x Thinking Out Loud. Everything Has Changed is track 14, Thinking Out Loud is track 11 on Ed’s album X. 14-11=3! The third song that was included in this mashup is End Game, the third single from Reputation.
However, this is not the only reason this mashup triggered me. This was the third time EHC was played as part of a mashup. The first time Taylor played it in a mashup was in Lyon N2, June 3rd. She wore the orange dress (which is pretty triggering by itself) and played a mashup of Glitch x Everything Has Changed. She played it the day after the 1989 combo glitch in Lyon N1, when she debuted a matching orange combo (again: orange is a triggering color). As we all know, the lyrics to EHC are “All I know since yesterday (Lyon N1) is everything has changed.”
The second time she played EHC was in Amsterdam N3, mashed up with Mary’s Song and So High School. A triple mashup. The date was also July 6th. July is the seventh month. 7+6=13.
Now, let’s move on to London N5. Taylor played 3 Surprise Songs: 1 on guitar and 2 on piano. She FINALLY played London Boy, and changed the lyrics to “You know I love a London boy, I enjoy playing Wembley Stadium in the afternoon.” However, that was not the first time Taylor changed the lyrics to a song in London. Back in June, on London N2, she played a mashup of thanK you aIMee x Mean. She changed the lyrics to “Someday I’ll be singing this song at Wembley and all you’ll ever be is mean.” So… the first time she changed the lyrics was in London N2, and the second time was in London N5? And 5-2=3?? This can’t be a coincidence.
Next up is London N6. Again, Taylor played 3 Surprise Songs. But most importantly, she played I Did Something Bad. IDSB is the third track on Reputation, and the only track she hadn't played on the Eras Tour before. It was also the third show in Wembley Round 2. In addition to that, London N6 occurred on August 17th, 3 days before August 20th. After playing IDSB she played a mashup of My Boy Only Breaks His Favorite Toys (track 3 from TTPD) and Coney Island (one of the three feature tracks on Evermore).
If you ask me, tonight she will play three tracks for the third time in a row, one of them will probably be a Reputation track/a track 3.
August 20th is also a Tuesday, the third day of the week. Reputation was originally announced on August 23rd 2017. August 20th is three days before August 23rd. Also, August 23rd was 364 weeks ago. 3+6+4=13.
There are too many threes at this point, and I think we can all agree that this is not coincidental.
thank You aimEe
Last week, Taylor released the live version of thanK you aIMee x Mean. However, she changed the capital letter in thanK you aIMee to spell out thank You aimEe. She capitalized Ye. And guess who changed his name to Ye three years ago? The one and only Kanye West, the one who is practically the reason Reputation exists.
Hand Motions During The Eras Tour
Taylor has been teasing Reputation’s announcement on August 20th during the Eras Tour. On London N6 Taylor did 20 with her hands instead of 22 during 22 (she put up 2 fingers and then closed her fist). 20 as on August 20? She also made a snake motion with her hands both in Anti Hero and Karma.
August 18th
Taylor has five shows scheduled for the second round in Wembley: on the 15th, 16th, 17th, 19th and the 20th. As you can see, there was no show on August 18th, and August 18th is a VERY important date in the Reputation timeline.
On August 18th 2017, Taylor cleared all of her social media accounts before announcing Reputation five days later. So she happens to have five shows in London to mark these five days, but she doesn’t have any show on the 18th, AKA the day she officially disappeared?
I think that at this point, the theories are way too valid. They actually make sense. They are not filled with random numbers that Taylor mentioned months ago in her speeches, they are based and they are sensible.
I believe tomorrow is the day. Tomorrow Reputation (Taylor’s Version) will be announced and we won’t be clowns, we will be correct. She will debut a new Reputation bodysuit and add IDSB to the setlist. She will play So It Goes… as a Surprise Song and our dreams will finally come true.
Hopefully.
IF THIS ISNT REAL IM GIVING UP ON REP
