Salt Air Month is officially over and here we are today, starting the NINTH month of the year?! Excuse Me? August was supposed to be a great month for Swifties, however, it ended up being very much different than we expected and I will definitely not remember it as a good month to be a Swiftie.
Here’s a recap of the past month, and everything you can expect in September!
August Recap
Eras Tour - European Leg Finale!
After three and a half months, Taylor finally wrapped up the European leg of the Eras Tour. This month, she performed 8 shows in Warsaw and London.
For the first time since the tour started, Taylor had to cancel three shows in Vienna (lucky us, Vienna Swifties!). I won’t start talking about how her whole behavior and attitude towards this situation was completely wrong, but I will say that as a Vienna Swiftie, the cancelation was more than heartbreaking.
A MUSIC VIDEO!!!!
For months I’ve been begging, asking, pleading, for an ICDIWABH music video that shows BTS clips of the Eras Tour. It was my vision, my little dream, and that dream came true!
On August 20th, right after not-announcing-Rep-TV at the final show of the European leg of the Eras Tour, Taylor released the MV for I Can Do It With A Broken Heart.
What To Expect In September
She’s Cheer Captain
This month, Taylor takes a break from touring. She is not most likely to be very very active career-wise, since it’s her only time to relax and settle until December.
She is expected to spend most of September in Kansas City, attending Travis’ football games.
VMAs 2024
The time has finally come, and it is officially the VMAs month! This year, Taylor earned 10 nominations. Vote for her!
Last year, in the 2023 VMAs, Taylor won all of her 11 nominations for Midnights. However, this year, she is predicted to lose in some of the fan-voted categories.
I have to admit, I love Taylor, but Sabrina Carpenter should and hopefully will be taking the Artist Of The Year awards home. She deserves it and I think Taylor herself is aware of that. I do hope she will win a few categories this year as well though!
The VMAs mark the return of the ICONIC Drunk Taylor, and I can’t wait for videos of her drunk dancing to Chappell Roan’s HOT TO GO!
Third Single From TTPD?
Rumors are circulating online that the third single from TTPD is set to be released this fall, and I hope that it will happen in September.
If you ask me, I think the third single with be either Who’s Afraid Of Little Old Me, So High School or But Daddy I Love Him. She just loves these three songs so so much and they all have such great potential for a crazy music video. Again: manifesting a SHS music video with a Travis Kelce cameo!
Ahhh it’s September!! We are only one month away from the return of Swiftober, but it seems like this month is going to be so much fun! I mean - Chiefs Taylor, Drunk Taylor, potentially even Recording Studio Taylor? This is going to be THE month, and hopefully, it will make up for the incredibly disappointing Salt Air Month 170000 and I had.
